There is a colony of African penguins not far from Hermanus at Betty's Bay, and also one at Simonstown. They are amongst the most popular of visitor attractions. Our designer, Christian, has reflected the surprise that many people have that there are penguins in sunny South Africa with the penguins wearing sunglasses! The shirts have our Sea 6 logo on the back.
Did you know?
African penguins live in colonies on the coast and islands of southern Africa. They used to be called jackass penguins because they make donkey-like braying sounds to communicate. They can dive under water for up to 2.5 minutes while trying to catch small fish such as anchovies and sardines. They may also eat squid and crustaceans
Our sizes are a bit smaller than normal for South Africa so you may wish to order a size larger than normal.
